Red-tailed Hawk (immature) - Riverbend Park, VA http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/red-tailed_hawk/id I love Red-tailed Hawks because they are so common and so pretty. The immature stage is especially beautiful in my opinion. This one was thermaling right over me for a minute.
